This panel discussion and training will provide attendees an example of how focus groups were employed in two different contexts: (1) to collect data for research projects about climate change, natural resources, and extreme weather, and (2) to identify the community’s specific goals, needs, and barriers to hazard and resilience planning — and to explore the specific tools and techniques used in these efforts.
