Local Communities: Techniques and Tools for Engaging Communities in Climate Resilience and Adaptation Planning

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This panel discussion and training will provide attendees an example of how focus groups were employed in two different contexts: (1) to collect data for research projects about climate change, natural resources, and extreme weather, and (2) to identify the community’s specific goals, needs, and barriers to hazard and resilience planning — and to explore the specific tools and techniques used in these efforts.
