Rich Bunnell is a master's student in urban and regional planning at UM's Taubman College, with a concentration in land use and environmental planning. He received his B.A. in history from UC Berkeley in 2005, then spent the better part of a decade working as a copy editor, arts journalist and page designer for print publications including the Oakland Tribune and San Francisco Examiner. His career goal is to work in climate adaptation in the Great Lakes region, and he has continued his work in print media as a staff editor for UM's Agora Journal of Urban Planning and Design.
