Kristin Lewis is a Senior Climate Change Scientist with the National Climate Assessment (NCA). In this role, she helps coordinate the development of the Fourth National Climate Assessment (NCA4). Prior to joining USCGRP, Kristin served as an AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow at NASA, where she supported program management within the Earth Science Division's research program. Before her fellowship, she worked at Independent Project Analysis where she conducted analysis of capital project performance drivers and outcome metrics for many of the world’s largest oil, chemical, and pharmaceutical companies.

Kristin's research focused on ultrafast spectroscopy of photosynthetic proteins. She holds a Ph.D. and Master of Sciences in Physics from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from the University of Wisconsin.
